comfortable and clean home. It has enjoyed considerable success with

At Rodica Senior Home Care House, we will wash and dry your clothing articles and
linen in our laundry facilities, as well as periodically clean the
bedrooms. The house is always kept clean.
Our goal is to keep you in the best of health. We provide you with a
variety of nutritious foods, assist you with baths/showers, and ensure
that you administer your prescribed medication. Your doctor must be
established before admission to Rodica Senior Home Care House and your personal health
number provided to your caregiver. Medical appointments can be arranged
either by yourself, your family or by us with your consent. A caregiver
is also available 24 hours a day for emergency purposes.
If you are caring for a loved one or relative in your own home and
can't seem to get a break because there is no one else to fill in for
you, let Rodica Senior Home Care House to help. We will be offering short stays in the
very near future.
Daily rate includes:
- Room and board in private room, wall to wall carpeting, with
bathroom.
- Wardrobe or closet for personal items.
- All meals, snacks and nourishment. We provide home made meals
paying attention to be properly balanced in proteins, carbohydrates
and fats. We are aware that the food is the most important factor to
maintain a perfect hormonal balance.
- Laundry services including personal laundry.
- 24 hour supervision.
- Physician visits.
- Dentist visits.
- Free Shaw Cable TV in each room.
- Telephone service available upon request.
- Day Care room for recreation activities.
- Smoking room.
- Smoke detectors and emergency lights.
Nutrition is an important part of a healthy life style. At Rodica
Senior Home Care House we understand the importance of good food so each meal is prepared
to the satisfaction of each resident. For those with special diets or
just plain picky, we always go out of our way to ensure a healthy
and delicious meal. Coffee, tea, fruit and snacks are available at all
times.
Nutritious and delicious home-style meals are served
"restaurant-style" in the dining room. Knowing your food preferences and
concerns is important to us. It helps us provide a home-like
environment. Based on the recommendations of your doctor, we will
consult with you on your dietary needs and plan your diet shortly after
admission.
Breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner are served daily at
regular times. In-between snacks will be available at your convenience
if you so choose. Meals may be served in your room if prior arrangements
are made with your care-giver.
At Rodica Senior Home Care House, we understand the importance of having a bathroom
that is close and yours alone to use. That is why the majority of our
resident's bedrooms are equipped with either a full or half bathroom.
The bathrooms are equipped with raised toilet seats and grab bars. The
tub in the main bathroom is equipped with a lifting seat, a support pole
and grab bars.
The living areas of Rodica Senior Home Care House are completely wheelchair accessible. As
well as having ramps and widened doorways, the house is both large and
spacious with plenty of room for getting around.
