Rodica Senior Home Care House strives to meet
the unique needs of each of its residents. We currently have 14 rooms
within one house, each with their own private bathroom. There are
many other amenities. Please click on any of the links below to learn

Family EnvironmentRodica Senior Home Care House is a family home with a warm and loving atmosphere. Each member of Rodica's staff treats each resident as a special part of their own family. For those animal lovers we have friendly dogs and cats to keep the residents company. Family members and friends are encouraged to come anytime and visit. This family atmosphere could never be duplicated in an institution setting.
AppointmentsAt Rodica Senior Home Care House, we offer many different services for our residents. As well as the regular housekeeping and laundry services, we also assist residents with making appointments and with the necessary travel arrangements.
Telephones and Cable TelevisionFor local calls, you can use the telephone located in the common area of Rodica Senior Home Care House. If you wish have a private telephone line in your room, the necessary arrangements can be made with Telus. Each of the residents' private rooms also has full access to cable television.
Smoking RoomFor your safety and well-being, and the safety and well-being of others, smoking is NOT permitted within the facility including residents' rooms, bathrooms and hallways. However, Rodica Senior Home Care House does provide a separate and comfortable sunny room for those residents who do smoke.
Safety FeaturesWe want to ensure your safety and we require your help to do so. Rodica Senior Home Care House is equipped with smoke detectors in each bedroom and hallway, a sprinkler system on all three levels of the house, and emergency lights in the event of a power failure. Fire drills are held on a regular basis. The house has an extensive intercom system with emergency call buttons in each of the resident's rooms.
TransportationYou will have access to the usual transportation services available in Prince George. These include taxis, BC Transit buses (we are on a direct route), and the Carefree bus service. We'll be happy to make arrangements for you. Family and friends are also encouraged to assist with transportation whenever possible. Rodica Senior Home Care House is within a five minute drive to all the local amenities including the hospital and the Victoria medical building.
Private BedroomsAt Rodica Senior Home Care House, seniors enjoy the privacy of spacious, bright and comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom also comes with a private bathroom. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items to furnish their rooms to their own taste in order to feel more at home.
Special Occasions and HolidaysAt Rodica Senior Home Care House we love to celebrate; Birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, we celebrate all the holidays and more. Family members and friends are encouraged to come and be part of the festivities.
Leisure ActivitiesWe will post the monthly calendar for leisure activities in Rodica Senior Home Care House. These activities are designed to be fun and active - both physically and mentally - and will provide social interaction and self-expression. Residents are also encouraged to pursue any hobbies or other interests that they may have. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated. With your participation, we can help you enjoy life to the fullest.
